Fees for Makemake Organizer

Transaction Fee
All organizers are charged a transaction fee to cover payment gateway fees.
Transaction fee is calculated as 5% of the final tickets amount paid by buyer + USD0.50, rounded up to 2 decimal places. Makemake will deduct the transaction fee automatically from the organizers’ payout when a ticket is fulfilled.
⚠️ Note
All tickets will have an additional tax charged on top of existing Transaction Fee.
Example if there is 6% tax SST, following is transaction fee applicable to all organizers.
Organizers Commission Fee
In order to continue to better serve organizers and the events ecosystem in the long run, Makemake is charging organizers a commission fee on all tickets sold. The following commission fees will apply to all organizers. Makemake will deduct the commission fee automatically from the organizers’ payout when a ticket is fulfilled.

Organizer Balance
Organizers’ payout will be credited to Organizer Balance.
Organizer can withdraw money from your Organizer Balance one time per week manually.
Withdrawal usually takes about 9 – 12 working days to be deposited into your bank account.
Do note that your bank may charge fees on receiving the payment, and these fees and any foreign currency conversion loss will be borne by organizer, it is organizer responsible to find out relevant charge by their bank for receiving payment. Due to bank foreign currency handling and all relevant fees where applicable, the final amount received by Orgnizer are not necessarily the same as those transferred by Makemake bases on amount withdraw by Organizer.
Organizer balance need to maintain minimum balance of USD40 for subsequent monthly fee.
Orgnizer balance will be zerorised if organizer terminate their account, which means any remaining credit balance will be deposited into your bank account within 120 working days after termination is confirmed. Whereas if there is any outstanding payment from Organizer to Makemake, relevant payment from Organizer to Makemake need to be done to zerorise the account within 20 working days to complete the termination request.
